My Mood:  | Big things from abstract avatars! After a buttfuck of work I am excited to announce three really big things: 1) official website! abstract avatars! by joshua nightshade 2) official blog! abstract avatars! by joshua nightshade 3) and the big one: DRUUUUUUUUUUMROLLL. After much thought, many conversations and a lot of feedback both from customers and friends, I have decided to re-launch all of my avatars with COPY, MOD, and NO TRANSFER permissions. Previously my avatars were just Copy, and I know no-mod is a deterrent for a lot of people who want to customize their purchases beyond the default. Because of this change, I have modified pricing slightly for products. Full details are at the blog entry in the above link and for the most part this is simply equalizing the pricing of the individual lines, but for some products this will make them slightly more expensive. HOWEVER, there is good news! While I have decided to make this change, I have not rolled it out to any of my vendors in world. This means for the time being you can purchase avatars at current prices and current permissions, and as a reward to those "early adopters," when the change is implemented it will be available via a free update to all existing products. This is the case for all customers before this announcement today, as well. I hope to get this change implemented in early September but don't quote me on that as I'm piling up things in RL right now.  OH AND CHECK OUT THE NEW VENDOR ARTWORK, I'm quite proud of that. (And shout outs to Mourna for giving me the inspiration and help for it. ) |
