My Mood: | We used to assume and create everything around the idea most people had 512m plots. Has the average plot size increased now? |

Can I play with your land?
| If possible I try to keep parcels larger unless the area is already total shit. A field of 512's is an invite for an ad farmer to rip one up into 16's center sim. I think 1024's to 4096's are more popular than 512's. People love prims! |

My Mood: | As a noob, my first parcel was a 512sm of land (not First Land, too ugly) on a mountainside. It took me about 1/2 hour to decide that simply wasn't big enough and snap up the adjacent parcel. My only regret was that I didn't double that instead. Within a few months, I sold that parcel to move to a 4096sm.... and an hour later I bought the adjacent 4096sm parcel. prims. must. have. prims. |

My Mood: | Actually most of prefabs I found are not for 512, but that was all I am willing to pay for my first shop. Soon enough I moved to a 1024. So, my answer, supply a small number of 512, but concentrate on bigger lots for a better reach. And if I liked my 512 I would probably return for the bigger build to you, too. |

My Mood: | Depends on your demographic. 2048m (64x32) and 4096m (64x64) are the most common sizes people ask me for, but I don't get much newbie business. EDIT: No one stays in a 512 for long unless they use it for a small shop, or they are the Undisputed Master of the Sculpted Prim.

My Mood: | 512 is too small... although the US$0 tier is nice for those who just want a place to anchor themselves. I would say that 1024s do sell better. Aside from the lack of prims (you can use up 117 pretty quickly) a 512 doesn't give you much buffer space in case an abutter raises/lowers/flatten his or her land, puts up 100m high megaprims, etc. I have sold several 512s, and no adfarmers have ever cut up the parcels so far. I have had them buy isolated 16s and 32s from me in the past (although I prefer now to give them to the Arbor Project.) It is very common for adfarmers to swap lots amongst themselves while perfectly good 512s languish unsold next door for months on end. Quite often, the 512's asking price will be less than that of the adjacent microplots. Whatever it is they are up to, the adfarmers currently don't seem terribly interested in acquiring 512s (although I know of one or two who branched out into buying and selling real-sized plots.) My Mood: | The freebie residents store fits well on a 512. you may want to tweak it to reduce the number of prims, however. |

My Mood: | I bet I could fit my store in 117 prims . I made a new store building recently for ym second store that came to only 11 prims total. With the contents and all, I believe it's a little under 117. Fitting on a 512 parcel is another matter. It may be low prim, but it's 40x40, so not small. Eata, if you're making buildings, try to remember that openspace sims are growing massively in popularity. Which means low primcounts, but tons of space. Large low prim buildings are a good way to go. In my case, I used sculpted megaprims.
