It's 2 AM. I was supposed to drive out at 5 AM, but since I can't sleep, I might as well drive.
I love driving through small towns late at night. Bonus to the lack of traffic - they remind me of an Outer Limits episode, one where you're the last person on Earth. Sodium lights make everything look dead.
Late night talk shows on the radio add to the feeling of surreality. As if you intercepted an alien transmission ... *queue ominous music*
