Booting the sexy personna

Yesterday, I swapped my sexy skin for a scary thrashed vampire skin. Why? Because I was meeting too many women, having too many relationships and unintentionally hurting too many people.
Trying to understand SL is like resurrecting the plague. The more you try to control it, the more people will get hurt.
Being a hopeless romantic dude, spending time with new and interesting women is something highly enjoyable. At least until the next one comes along. Sounds awful to say such a thing, but never once was I insincere or misleading.
If a person wants to really experience life, there is a requirement that the walls be lifted and self protection abandoned. It is only in the raw engagement can one experience true love and desire. Getting hurt is a natural consequence of this approach but it is a pain worth baring. However, if the partner does not also live by this, there may be a far less pleasant outcome for both.
Why not just experience a single person? Simple, I am as confused in RL as in SL, no excuses. Perhaps there will be that one person that lights my fire forever, maybe. But also, SL is a place where people can explore different aspects of their own personality without inhibition. Staying with one person will be much more satisfying after knowing ones own desires.
Will the new skin work? The verdict is still out... in addition to the skin, I am now a full time resident of Abbey, a RP SIM which will hopefully prove to be enjoyable in new and interesting ways.
