It just seems like this recession is affecting everyone. Including the people it isn't.

    Maybe the road ice is good for me, as it gives me something tangible to fear while on the way to work!

    I hope you and yours are doing okay.

    Truthout ran two articles side by side today: one about how there's no accountability or disclosure for the "bailout," and one about the rising number of people who are homeless or need food help.

    We're supposed to think the current situation is some kind of organic event, like a flu. I think it was done to us (if possibly out of idiocy).

    On the plus side, it looks like enrollment in community colleges and the like will rise, especially those who offer technical programs like health care.
