There's only so much time available and frankly, the DJing was getting to be a chore rather than something I enjoyed.

Since I've made a committment at Butterflies to be their DJ Manager, and because it's run by two very dear friends who let me choose themes or not, play whatever I feel like, and generally give me free rein, I still enjoy working there so that's the one gig I kept... I'm there Fridays and Sundays @ 2am SLT.

Our own place, Closer, was going to launch officially next weekend however now that we're converting to a full sim I might hold off on that.

I am so hooked up with the social networking thing. I gots TWO facebooks, one for me and one for my evil twin, I have a MySpace page, I'm somewhere in LinkedIn, I made an SLProfiles page and there are prolly a dozen others I have forgotten.

The thing is, after a while they become a chore and/or a bore, or I just get too busy to keep up with it all.

So of course, now I create a Blog here on SLU :confusedcat:

Fair warning... there will be infrequent posts. At this point in time I intend to use this purely to talk about my DJ gigs, new photographic or video work and other stuff that's coming up in the way of events and Interesting Things.

Random rants, raves, whinging and other such self indulgence already have home here

If I find anything cool or of wider interest, I am far more likely to create a thread in the forums here at SLU.
