So I finally took the plunge and signed up for Gamespy after getting a free month trial of it from Pizza Hut. Although it does seem a bit pricey ($22.95 a month for 2 games), so far I have been impressed with it.
The first two games I ordered were Assassin's Creed and Ninja Gaiden 2 - games I have wanted to try out. Ninja Gaiden 2, was on low supply so I ended up with my second choice of Mass Effect.
It took 2 days to get Asssasin's Creed and 3 days for Mass Effect - not bad at all. The only disappointment was the games did not come with any manual (though you can view a digital copy online). Otherwise, everything was fine.
I got an email them today that they are having a summer sale and I can buy Mass Effect for $17.99 and Assassin's Creed for 19.99 - pre owned. I think I will buy them both - it is a lot better than $59.99, and I don't care that they are preowned, since they are guaranteed.
I definitely think I will keep my membership after the trial - there are a lot of games I would like to try, but admittedly would only play a few times, so it is a waste to pay $59 per game. I have Alone in the Dark and Ninja Gaiden 2 as the next games in my queue - both games I am really looking forward to.

| | I keep on meaning to try that out since I'm starting to get tired of buying crappy games for up to $59.99 each and I don't like to wait several weeks before I can get it as used. Plus the local movie rental places always seem to have the games rented out. |
