How to be totally embarrassed

OK, so the background to this is that a Certain SL Blogger whose name cannot be mentioned here has bought a couple of things from me in the past.
Yesterday, I finally got my act into gear to put my new lighthouses up for sale inworld and to blog about them. The blog goes up on a feed where this... notorious person also posts and what do I see right after my own post? A recommendation for a sim. Ooooo.... mine!
Me being me, I get all flattered and send off a lighthouse with a word of thanks.
Later, while preening over my OWN notoriety to a friend, I went back to the 'recommendation' for Graces (my sim) and it occurs to me that it's mis-spelled as Grace. Except it wasn't... it WAS for a sim called Grace, and not Graces.
Embarrasment much? Oh yeah.
I'm still writhing. I mean, I'm only supposed to be a writer and editor and whine regularly about spelling.
Ah well. Maybe he'll 'cover' my lighthouse.

Actually I thought it was very nice of you to show appreciation to another person. Ok, it was a mistake, but your action was real. To me it shows the kind of person you are. I guess it just depends how you look at the picture. To me I see a person who is willing to say, "thank you." How could that be all that bad? (Looks on map. Exactly where is this place called, ....Graces? Hummm....maybe worth a visit. I hear good people live there.)Posted 02-22-2010 at 11:15 AM by Matthew Kidomen
