For as long as I can remember, I have had a love for the written word. About 400 books come across my desk on a monthly basis, gads knows I wish I could read most of them but there is never enough time. So I thought I would blog about some of the more interesting ones that fly into my radar here.

Today I have a book called Never again, again, again… on my desk. It is a photographic essay on six major genocides: Armenia, the Holocaust, Cambodia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Rwanda and Darfur....

the changing face of... eh...well... me

Posted 05-19-2008 at 12:12 AM by Carla Hassanov
i'm not someone who can easily change their avatar - i established my look early on, crappy self-made skin and all, and i was stuck with it. nothing else was "me" after that.

but it was time for a makeover

and thanks to freebie eyes and the skin PSDs on the eloh eliot blog, it was way too easy

it was actually tough to get myself to fix the screwed-up...
