This has quickly shaped up into a very nice viewer, Niran. And, incidentally, the only one on 3.2 that doesn't crash me and it runs like greased lightning. Thank you.

For your next release could you please consider re-enabling the "allow media to auto play" checkbox? I always leave that turned off so I can selectively play music, but since it auto plays everything now I just have to leave streaming music off entirely...

i never disabled it Inhandra

Edit: i checked the Option and what disables it - AudioStreamingMedia , which is the Enable button near Media slider

if the option doesnt want to activate somehow , go to Debug Settings -> ParcelMediaAutoPlayEnable activate it manually

Good news , someone griefed our SIM and tried to crash us with "the Light" , the viewer staid completly unimpressed of it , FPS went down to 3-5 FPS , but no Driver crash or Viewer Crash

For me that option stays perpetually grayed out, and used to work for music even while having media disabled. I have ALWAYS run with media disabled since RZ, and streaming on and this function worked as described; music wouldn't autoplay when I teleported. I can log into any other viewer (maybe even official, I will try it) and it works that way.

ETA: Works this way in Second Life 3.2.1 (243874) Oct 26 2011 09:44:27 (Second Life Developer). Toggles auto play for both music and media, and is not grayed out if media is not enabled.

Um, am I missing something in the download link?
It still says "Beta 3A".

Ok, I get what's going on. Apparently it does gray out on official, but not until after the panel is closed. So, I've always been able to set it as I want it just fine after first installs and never noticed. But, a log in, looking at settings for the first time with an alt, and then closing the panel and reopning, it is grayed.

So basically, that's just a weird quirk.

Workaround is to temporarily enable media, uncheck the box, and then uncheck media. That setting should not gray out at all if it affects both systems, and at least one is enabled.

Click on the Downloads tab instead, you'll see it there.

Great work, Niran! As with the latest Shining Fixes nightly, I can have deferred on finally, though oly with AA off, and I don't think I'm getting the benefit of FXAA. Almost, though.

I do get random quits, though, sometimes. Not sure why.

Have you tried playing with the memory settings under Advanced Graphics?

@Ran , FXAA might look like it doesnt work anymore because of the new new new new new new ...whatever Depth of Field , which now needs redoing of the settings , havnt redone them yet , but will do now with Beta4a (Bonus Points for additional fix! yay)

UPDATE: its up ...please grab Beta4A

ok uploading it right now , btw @Ran , if you read my Info Blog post you might read that this can be caused by too less Memory (RAM) , you can check that by going to Develop - Info - Show Memory , your Memory Information should accour at the bottom right , if it crashes at around 1250000 (KB) its your RAM then , if it crashes even earlier , then you get even less free Memory for SL... idk exactly how much SL will take but i assume up to ~90% and when your RAMs hit ~90% it will crash , as 90% is the critical Area in which Windows often starts to get slower

the changelist for B4a
Fixed Graphics 2 panel Dof Settings
Set my new DoF Settings for the new DoF
Set my new Camera Offsets and Focus Points for Front/Rear and Group View, try them out!
Fixed greyed out Autoplay option
Fixed redmoon

Nahh, seriously, looks great so far. Get some rest and work (or let others work) on some Skins

ETA: And the Subfolder Problem in the LM-Tab is fixed too!! YAY!!

I hit 2.1GB and 97% of memory, and was starting to feel a great deal of start-and-stop as memory was swapped.... but no crashing. So as far as that goes, it is rock solid.

The times I got disconnected, it simply said I had quit SL, rather than being crashes.

What can I say? Beautiful job, Niran!
I can't explain it, but I'm getting a few extra FPS improvement over the 3a version, on Ultra. DoF looks good (underwater DoF is a little tricky to set-up to taste, but well worth it), and not a single hiccup from the viewer yet.

I agree with Tris. Get some well-deserved rest, Niran. Thank you for all the hard work.

ETA: I caught the 'red-moon' as well, and just curious, if it wasn't a windlight thing, what was it...lol

Thanks for fixing the auto-play thingy. Still having some issues viewing profiles / using the internal web browser... not sure what's up with that. One build it was fine, the next it wasn't, this one it isn't.

Otherwise, YAY! Still quite happy with performance and visuals.

yea , the viewer uses new qtwebkit , to support the new zooming function which seems buggy to me , Websites are always zoomed ,...its WIP and the finished Zoom is not yet implemented , if they dont finish it until i start working again , i will make it dynamical , meaning you will be able to set the zoom factor via option and slider in web browser

anyway Internal browser works for me , must be something else...
oh btw , i forgot to fix the chat history , i hope it doesnt annoy ...its fixed already here hehe
and try setting the cam to another preset , especially sideview(groupview) which is my fav third person shoulder view i did long ago
check out the new snapshot floater and the freeze frame function which looks rather cool!

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with it either. I can tell it you that it does something weird though... like, when I right click someone and hit View Profile, the little window comes up with no name in the title bar and it looks like the url bar vanishes up underneath it. Then all I can do is close it.

I've also tried reenabling media and attempting to load profiles, but that didn't help either (just as an off-chance).

Hey Niran, on your new photo floater, it seems the email "settings" button doesn't do anything and there's no button to send, nor anywhere to type where to send it.

its not mine , its LLŽs new Snapshot system ....havnt done a thing to it yet .... iŽll take a look on that

sorry Inhandra ...was my fault , me stupid u know.... i accidentally renamed 2 XMLs wrong , go to your skins/default/xui/en folder and rename panel_snapshot_settings.xml to panel_postcard_settings.xml and panel_snapshot_message.xml to panel_postcard_message.xml.....

well i forget all kind of things....and i guess it will not take long until a release in which i forget the application itself.... heres a good example what happend to Beta4B after i compiled it and forgot to put the new shader files into the app_settings folder...

dont thank me for this awesome Render Pipeline (i didnt make it , Runatai Linden did im just merging everything together , fixing UI stuff , modding the UI , creating skins , and sometimes creating some tiny new features) , just for my default settings , skin and UI and 1-2 selfmade features no other Viewer has
