| Helloo there ! Just a quick question. Which image in the skin files is used for the background of the drop-down menus ? Especially the ones for "Flyout" boxes, the ones in your graphics preferences for example. Also the one for the background of the main menu. I suspect it is the same image. I want to make them totally opaque, to avoid what is seen in this picture: ![]() I managed to find the semi transparent .png files used for the various panels and made them opaque, but I couldn t find the ones for the menus. I would appreciate that very much. Cheers !! |

My Mood: SL Join Date: 6th Jan. 2007 Client: Nirans Viewer 2.x Blog Entries: 12 | its not a texture , its a defined color called Black_75 in the colors.xml search for <color name="MenuDefaultBgColor" reference="Black_75" /> and <color name="ComboListBgColor" reference="Black_75" /> change them to either value="0 0 0 1" or reference="Black" , will raise the opaque value a bit , it was set to Black at the start and i turned it down a bit to look more transparent ... will raise it again but i wont make it 100% opaque , 100% looks wah... SL Join Date: March 23, 2008 Client: Firestorm, Phoenix, Niran's | Hello. Sorry to go off topic here, but I was wondering if there was any way to change the default view in Niran's Viewer to the regular camera angle (directly behind the avatar)? If so, how would I go about doing so? |

Business: Mystic Gems Client: Exodus, Firestorm, Viewer 3 | Sorta related, would it be possible to put the View and Movement floaters on the menu somewhere? I need them every once and a while, not often enough to justify screen space for the buttons all the time, but at the moment that's my only option if I ever want to use them. |

Business: Happy Bivouac/Milk&Cream | Someone posted a fix for the height being wrong in the appearance editor. You can find it here. I haven't tried it myself, I couldn't compile my way out of a paper bag, but would be pretty neat if it works. I was wondering, would you consider poking at whatever LL did to "fast alpha" which stopped it from working? It was pretty nice being able to create builds without alpha sorting issues. Also, I forget whether or not I tossed my windlight day cycle at you. It's fairly spiffy.

| Also full on height tests with all kinds of shapes. It's using the same (in my opinion) flawed calculation method, just obvious math errors were fixed. (As I've said the height readout is wrong on many different levels..) so needs to be tried with some crazy shapes for accuracy. Wouldn't want LL to accept the patch if it's still flawed. |

My Mood: SL Join Date: 6th Jan. 2007 Client: Nirans Viewer 2.x Blog Entries: 12 | because of its horizontal layout its good to put into such corners (in left lower corner it looks best because of the skin fade out effect) , it will take some time to get used to but it already does fun to have it open without annoying when other windows (inventory etc) are open |

Business: Manager of Blacklace Client: Firestorm | Apologies if someone has asked this already, but the camera. How do I make the camera work as before, where it my arrows move my avatar and not the camera when I'm standing up, and walk in a straight line ? It's driving me batty when I'm walking because I keep walking in the wrong direction and making me feel seasick. Love the viewer overall, I just can't get used to this camera thing.

Business: Manager of Blacklace Client: Firestorm | Ok, so maybe 'wrong direction' was not the right term. All I need to know is how to get the camera behaviour back to how it is by default in the LL viewer, i.e. behind me and the arrows move my avatar when I'm standing, not the camera. Is this possible ? Thanks. |
