I was at the rezzed.tv interview and he was forced to admit, under fierce cross-examination from one of the Emerald groupies in the after show discussion, that he hadn't actually asked if the person who'd given him the av he was wearing had got permission to use all the textures in it. Which I am sure we all agree makes him an evil copybotter.

No doubt about that, Hazim has never really minced words that I can remember that he's done some bad stuff. I just find it funny about the welcome sign. Again, I realize I should NOT be laughing about that. It just strikes me as something funny....a welcome sign? I mean...REALLY?! As in "what the hell would possess someone to steal a damn welcome sign?!"

Was it S20? Because I had this issue, a long time back. Back on S19, which is old. The "unsupported graphics card" warning on login is a feature of 1.23.5 when you have a newer graphics card and it simply didn't recognise it. You can safely dismiss it, and adjust your graphics settings inworld accordingly in preferences.

Current versions of S20 don't have these issues, not for a long time.

And Kirsten updated the gpu_table.txt so it recognizes a lot more cards. Looks like it came from LL. Some are in there with incorrect settings but at least you don't get the message.

I'm not sure since I'm not a coder but I think there's a release already of this so called Yeti Viewer. I downloaded the zip file but it's like the source. LOL! I have no knowledge of compiling viewers though.

I've only known him in this forum, where I've been very grateful for his contributions. He's provided a lot of valuable information, backed up by evidence and links to various resources - often stuff we would never have known if it weren't for Hazim. His opinions seem to be based logically on real evidence, so worth reading.
By his own admission he has been a bit naughty occasionally in his youth, but never wicked or malicious, from what I gather.
So. yes, if he provides a viewer which he says is compliant with LL's ToS and the TPV rules, I'd be inclined to trust it.

TOS compliant, yes. TPV compliant, I'm not sure. They keep saying that the message builder violates section 1a, but I'm going to have to talk to someone about that. Plenty of time, as there's no binaries yet anyways.
