| Snowglobe: Frequency A new viewer based off of the snowglobe viewer, with some fun extra features thrown in such as RLVa. My initial impressions were good - fast, clean, and sculpties look right (my biggest problem in Emerald). But, I crash unpredictably and with no warning, no error messages, and usually within 5 minutes of logging in. Just *poof*, back to the desktop. In the few seconds beforehand, my CPU usage (dual core) will go from 50% up to 100% for 5 to 7 seconds, then the viewer crashes. I had this same problem with Emerald initially, and installing the proprietary pack solved it. However, snowglobe doesn't come with any additional installation files. I'd appreciate hearing if anyone else has these problems, or your impressions of the viewer. Business: Bleu Katt Blues & Rock Lounge | Ok, after a few days of playing with this viewer I see the same issue as you; keeps crashing after 15-30mins of use. It is a shame as overall I quite like it, seems fast and some nice features. However it is too unstable to use right now, hope they get a more stable version out. |

| I have Snowglobe crash like that, but maybe a couple of times a week. I stick to it because it's SO much more reliable teleporting than Emerald or the mainline viewer.

Congruently obtuse
| My SnowGlobe doesn't actually crash, but once or twice a week it'll go into "not responding" and stay that way indefinitely and I get the little rotating circle of death cursor (I'm running Windows 7 and the latest SnowGlobe test release from SLDev). I force it to close and clear cache and when I restart it sends a crash report. But the speed of rezzing the world in SnowGlobe more than makes up for the inconvenience.
