If you run File > Export to engine from the City Editor, it saves whatever things it needs to so it can be run with the Blue Mars.exe directly.

Then I log in with a shortcut that reads in the target box:

"C:\Program Files\Blue Mars City Developer Tools\Bin32\BlueMars.exe" -devmode +ar_startlevel Tirion_BlueMars1

where filename in the \Game\Levels\Tirion\Tirion_BlueMars1 folder is Tirion_BlueMars1.cry

If I want to take photos and not watch the FPS stats, I have a second shortcut that leaves out the -devmode flag.
