YES I blew my top in this thread.

BUT, I did it AFTER my heritage was attacked.

Sure, many of my responses in here have been more emotional than rational.

But I posted what I felt was a cute response about a possible minimal society - citing an ideal of my heritage, one which does have some limited actual examples; though it is by far the full-picture.

It was just a cute, limited response to a question on minimal societies. And my roots got attacked for it.

So yes, I blew my top in here. There was absolutely no reason for the two responses my original post got - given what the thread was about, and what limited of a context I posted in.

Mere mention of some idealized aspect of native culture does not justify that kind of response. And in the context of what this thread was originally about, that kind of native-hostile response was even less justified.
