I'm ambivalent about notices... I like getting notices for
SLU-related social events, but I really don't need to see ads for someone's new shop, as much as I like shopping at the stores of SLUsers... to me, that's what the forum ads are for, and I'm totally cool with those as they help offset the hosting costs. Posting ads or going "hay guise I just put up a new item @ mi store lol buy plz" in group chat just feels like using the popularity of
SLU without supporting Cris to me. I could also do without the random event notices from people who don't really post here, too. Especially if you've made a point of saying "This is why I don't post much at
SLU anymore"
ps.: presents are cool, I like getting present notices. Haha.
