Most of them don't require the whole face to be covered even still; the Taliban did when they controlled Afghanistan, but wearing the burqa is falling out of favor there in Kabul entirely now.
Most of them allow at least the eyes to be uncovered, but generally speaking the entire face is left uncovered instead.
