| In nearly every communication and networking medium there is a lot of annoying stuff, a lot of chaff, a lot of trash, drivel and idiocy. But in those very same media are veins of gold as well.
Though I have a twitter account, I don't use it because it wasn't working for me. But Twitter has on several occasions shown itself to be an important communication medium, this is another of those occasions.
