| Thank you Lianne. It took about 5 hours to download the game from Steam. I played for about 3 hours last night (I am going to be sleepy at work today). I am really enjoying the game so far. Sandbox style games - and I have them all, from Morrowind and Oblivion to Fallout 3 and GTA, appeal to me intellectually. But I have a very short attention span and these games tend to bore me rather quickly. I mean, I literally fell asleep trying to play Fallout 3, with all of the talking to people - wow, I never got out of Megaton. That Witcher is so story driven, and even linear, is a very good thing for me. The story is really well done and I am enjoying the combat system. I was a little confused when I meditated and had to assign talents. I selected something, and wasn't sure how I could cancel my selection. I will take greater care next time. |
