LOL WHATTT I think I'm already over that whole sl modelling obsession. Yeah another thing about dark skins - I was told to take mine off (for modelling) and I have an 'ethnic' look - not back from the tanning salon 'tan' look. >__< I like a little diversity |
I think it's a bit odd to ask a model to completely change her shape and skin tone for a photo shoot. I can see where a small adjustment might help to show off a certain clothing item. But to completely change your shape and even racial characteristics? At that point I have to wonder why somebody is even looking for models, and doesn't just create an alt instead. It seems to me you ask a person to model, either because you like their appearance or think they would compliment your product, or because you want to leverage a person's notoriety. Asking a model to become somebody else seems very silly.
I have been asked to model on several occasions (I didn't accept, because modeling isn't really my thing) and I have to assume it was because they found my appearance pleasing.
If a photographer asked me to change my shape dramatically, or my race, I would suggest they find the model they are really looking for, or create one themselves.
