Its probably a number of things. Could be that you are being snubbed by regulars who came to see their favorite girl. Could be that your avie isn't up to par with the customer's expectations (if you have freebie stuff, it usually shows). Could be that your social (emotes/texting) skills aren't up to par with the customer's expectations. Could be that the club isn't popular or attracts the wrong clientele (i.e. if the club draws in a lot of noobs).
It could also be an issue with your expectations/attitude. What you think your services are worth may not be in line with the clientele. The clientele may expect more effort from you than you are currently giving (but please, don't spam/nag clients!)
I couldn't tell you what the issue is without seeing you at work. But I was in
SL for several months and learned a lot of social skills prior to attempting to dance. And I was a regular at my club for a while prior to applying for a position on the stage. Also, a lot of the dancers hung out at my club even when they weren't on the stage and there was a lot of tipping between the employees off the stage to those on the stage.
I think if you treat
SL dancing as a job, you probably won't make that much SLmoney.
