She really needs to though. Not necessarily here, but she does need to respond to this, and soon. A lot has been said on her behalf - accusations that go as far as insinuations of content theft. And whether or not it accurately reflects her feelings, because she is friends with Prokofy, I feel she needs to make a statement on this. If all of this is much ado about nothing, then LCO and Lala have been diminished unfairly and Simone should care that her name was invoked in the process and want to do what she can to put things right.
I highly suspect Simone's silence is due to being out of pocket for the holidays and that when she returns and sees the poop storm that has ensued, she is going to regret whatever she may have said to Prok that gave him the ammunition he needed to launch a full frontal attack on LCO.
As one of the more successful designers in
SL, I am sure that Simone
was ultimately frustrated to find that she didn't make sales quickly enough to cover tier, that she had to scramble to move money over, and that LCO wasn't bending over backwards to keep her happy. And she probably did vent some of that frustration to Prok. The problem is that Prok isn't a normal human being. It sounds to me, based mostly on his illogical reasoning and completely disproportionate anger with with LCO and Lala, that Prok wanted a reason to go after LCO and Simone unwittingly gave him plenty of kindling to start a nice fire.
Of course, I say all of this not really knowing what happened. But I have to slice though all of this drama with Occam's Razor, right? What is the most likely scenario here? Until we hear from Simone herself, I think it's best to assume that Prok is doing as Prok always does and sitting back and laughing at how everybody else is in a lather over it all.
