I admire your builds! I think I actually learned most of what I know by looking at builds made by you and a few other designers.

It takes some getting used to. Cut / hollowed prims are bugged. I find it great for laying out the general structure of a build -- snap snap snap, work by numbers, it's accurate! And you can turn around the build, hide some prims, zoom in without the camera sending you three sims away...
The other advantadge is that you have a copy of your build on your hard drive. You can export it as a group to .obj, and if you're smarter than me you can bake the textures properly (accurate shadows).
I have baked the textures of my
wrestling ring with that method.
It's definitely worth a try -- if only for the magic of watching the build rez for the first time!
