Speaking as a coast-dwelling hand-wringing liberal, I've always thought of gun ownership as protecting oneself from people protecting themselves. (Everyone hit that groan button now!) With that said, gun control and ownership ranks about 1,000 on the list of Issues I Care About, so I really don't have the energy to attempt take your gunz away.
Back to the OT- there's a certain non-American clothing designer who I will not patronize because she hung an Obama poster in her shop and "recommended" that Americans vote Obama. Now, I did vote for Obama, but like Brenda said about the owner of the role play group, that struck me as arrogant. I should also mention that this designer previously made an oh-so-tasteful American flag bikini as a "9/11 memorial".
