SL is, is an internet service platform, and LL is the service provider. You lease the space from them to use how you wish, some sublease it, others use it to pursue their artistic talents, some run a business, others just play and socialize. It may be time to stop considering this space leasing as an investment, and call it just that. A service fee, that you aren't to expect a return on. Your business is where the investment occurs. It may be less idealistic, but perhaps more practical. It is pretty much how I see
