| I agree with Persephone, in part. While most defeated VP candidates fade into obscurity, I think we have to admit, like her or not, she has created a lot of excitement and interest in this campaign. She's young for a politician, attractive and is still a very popular in her home state. A run for the senate would give her more national exposure and a chance to joust with the Washington insider clique, HOPEFULLY without becoming one.
She has a built in nationwide base still of rural and small town US as well as NRA members.
Running in 2012? I don't know. If Obama wins and is doing a good job, the Republicans, given the shambles that party is in currently wil probably have to nominate a sacrificial lamb. I think 2016 would be more like it.
