| I wouldn't want to discredit a female abuse victim either, as assault is a vile and ugly thing. However, from an un-biased opinion, I call shenannigans on her.
According to her, the perp did that to her with a knife. Over the years, I've been cut both shallow and deep with knives many a-time. Knife cuts leave dark, narrow lacerations on the skin.. not wide abrasions that don't even puncture the skin. To me, that looks like self-inflicted fingernail scratches done in a mirror. The fact that she refused medical attention afterwards doesn't help in convincing me either. |
