| There's not going to be any nuclear world war over anything going on on the middle east no matter how nasty it gets.
Nuclear world war will only happen if the "Big Three" go at it directly. the US, Russia and China.
Now, IF the worst case in the middle east is that Iran actually gets a nuke and bombs Israel, then they will have used up their, what? Two or three nukes? Those things just do not roll out of the factory like candy you know.
Then Israel bombs the shit out of Iran, and then we get a good old fashioned ground war. Why? because the US will knock Israel on the back of the head for dropping the hammer on Iran without our say so because we do not WANT nukes being tossed around.
Why?
Bad for business. Bad press. Bad relations. It LOOKS bad. Bad bad bad ... and OUR big thing is how well we look on the news. If there is a tossing of nukes in the middle east it will be short and between the little players. Russia will not bomb us, we will not bomb china because of Iran or Israel.
MAD over what happens in Iran? Yeah, right.
