| I'm going to pass on this one. The original was OK, but Network TV now has to be so santized and PC that this will probably be a big yawn. The whole Earth invaded by carnivorous/parasitic beings angle has been done to death. And I'm tired of these Sci Fi Holocaust allegories. What I'd like to see is a remake of the mini series "Amerika" where the Soviets, under a bogus UN mandate took over America. Updated a bit, it could be a very topical show.
Or, I am surpised very few attempts have been made to do something ala Harry Turtledove where The Nazis or Japanese Invade North America during WWII, I love those alternate history stories. But again, network TV wouldn't do it right.
Besides, I thought SciFi Channel had exclusive rights to cheesy lizard movies. |
