I'm just not on board with believing that anyone wanted to see our armed forces get killed. I'm not even on board saying "the dems want to see more body bags out of Iraq" because the implication is too much for me.
No one wants to see casualties but sometimes there is no diplomatic solution. And personally I'd like to be sure that we don't end up with a Neville Chamberlain in our White House.

Even in "Just" wars people advocating wars are hoping people will die. There is just a reason they think those deaths are supposedly worth it.
People always die in wars.
Iraq as a "just war" is a big stretch.
Some could possibly argue a "necessary" war. I wouldn't. Because if it was we would have declared war.
This is a lot different than wars where us intervening shortens the duration of the war and protects countries like World War 1 and 2. Still those who advocating us being involved in those way were voting for people to die.
The bloodless war hasn't been invented yet.
