... for the Church to promise that the next time scientists publish theories and ideas that may contradict Church doctrine based on a formidable amount of evidence, they will scrutinize the theory scientifically with empirical evidence in a rational scientific way rather than demonizing, obfuscating, misrepresenting and/or silencing them.
But I do mean it when I say kudos to the CoE on this one. I'm looking forward to when American fundamentalists join the sanity. |
