| Now, I'll try to make this brief. I'm a Jersey boy born and raised, I swore I'd get out of this place the day I could. I tried, and I can't live anywhere but home.
I've lived in Maine, loved the cold, hated the afforementioned poverty and the unfortunately low IQ. Lived in Florida, Loved the 'quiet cities' and beaches, hated the humidity and worst of all the bugs. Lived in Pennsylvania (my own personal hell) and hated everything from the bizzare laws (by my standards) to the shitty roads and poor drivers. Not to mention that it seems much of Pensy is in the middle of freakin' nowhere. Not to mention, gas prices suck.
I've lived a few places in Jersey, and so far my favorite is Deptford. I live 15 minutes Philly, far enough away not to hear the gun shots, but close enough to frequent South Street. I can take a train ride to NYC if I feel the need to take in a show or see some hobos. Oh, and there's shopping there too. Most of NJ has just enough green not to make me need to check my shoes for bugs, but there are deffinately city spots and the pine barrens where one can get lost and meet the Jersey Devil.
I can show you around, but I don't even own the couch in my house so I can't really offer a spot. Though go bug Fox Stirling and he might let you sleep in our house. ;3
