THAT forum. There's plenty of blogs and forums where overly critical, fashionista types declare what is and isn't good or bad fashion. I've always despised this sort of behavior as it's rude, arrogant and thoughtless for all of the reasons mentioned by the posters in this thread.
Not too mention there are better things to do than slam someone's self esteem who went through the trouble to contribute something to the community, regardless of anyone's opinion of the result. at least they are making an effort. Nothing irritates me more than people who sit afar and pass judgement on someone else's work when they are too inept or unwilling to attempt it themselves.
