We as a people continue to make the worst possible choices because we'd rather bury ourselves in shiny toys and widgets while avoiding real issues than accomplish something. Then we can sit around for four more years and complain about whatever choice is made and how we wish we had gone the other way.
The entire process is nonsense and has long since been bought and paid for by corporations and special interest groups. Although I will likely go down and cast my vote, I have no confidence it will mean anything as I believe the choice has been made for us, long before now.
