aaawwww, that's a cute puppy alright, and he's groan into a handsome dog - with the advantage that people won't mess with you when he's around!
I broke up with a long term partner before I met hubby, and actually went back 3 times because I missed the dog. I couldn't stand the bloke by then, but felt awful about being away from my sweet dog

I remember the day I saw his new girlfriend walking him (the dog, not the bloke) and it was terrible. I cried for an hour.
I also read somewhere the other day that 23% of parents love their pets as much as their children, so it's understandable. (I'm not one of them I have to say quickly, but I can understand it).
