Well, it is sad. It is sad because significant portions of the Republican Party Platform deal with sex and the morality thereof. If Obama had a pregnant 17 year old the GOP would be having a field day shouting about "liberal hedonism and lack of morality." It is only an issue because Republicans have made sex a national campaign issue and have been using teenage pregnancy in particular as a club to beat people with as examples of moral decay due to liberalism.
