| I wasnt talking about VAT at all, I was talking about a friend in the UK who needed a root canal and had to wait 8 months to get an appointment to see the dentist. Sure it was free, but hearing her in so much pain because it took so long to find an available dental appointment wasnt pleasant. I'm talking about a Dutch friend who recently lost her home because she was living with her mother, and now that the mom is disabled and going to a care home she is losing her house, her beloved pets and her privacy because she no longer 'qualifies' for a single residence because she is not married and has no children. Is this the sort of thing that America has to look forward to? No thanks.. |
