All the signals clearly point to Ohio Sen. George Voinovich. He would make McCain look youthful and vital. And he would counter the fact that Obama defeated a seemingly invincible electoral juggernaut in the person of Dennis Kucinich on his way to the nomination. Voinovich, during his years as Mayor of Cleveland, defeated not one but TWO Kucinichs.... he beat both Dennis and his brother Gary. Most of all, Voinovich is from Ohio, a state which epitomizes America's tradition of fair, honest, clean, bipartisan elections... this will serve as a stark contrast to Obama's roots in Chicago. |
