| Actually, I have a plan called the "distributed event model" which works on that basis. The main problem with it is that it relies on people contributing land in different sims which is then allocated to participants, which is a lot harder for individuals other than land barons to do. But the scripting to take people from place to place is trivial and the lag is drastically reduced.
I drew some of the inspiration from the Brian Eno 77 Million Paintings exhibition a while back, which was distributed across five participating sims, and despite the exhibits being both scripted and popular, was quite manageable. |
