Hi - this is more a general interest topic than a question which needs answering.
I've seen a lot of probs on the grid but this is a spin on an old one. I had a client contact me today saying that the texture on a necklace I had made had dropped and it was just a grey blur. He said that this was a general thing happening to him not anything to do with me. So, yes fine, I sent him a replacement, no worries.
My concern is from what he was chatting to me about after I sent it. He was saying that on Tuesday he lost all LM's, photos and textures from his inven. Wow - bad but not unheard of.
But then today the textures on his skin and eyes started getting wonky while he was inworld and he lost textures on items, apparently permanently, and his gf lost textures from a lot of her gowns too. He said that this happened when they were on a sim with hardly any other people. He is on the old viewer btw - not the 1.2 and he's lodged a couple of tickets but isn;t holding his breath.
Quite frankly the thought of this happening to my inventory makes me want to scream quietly. It sounds so unbelievable - but then this is
SL!!! I really hope it doesn;t start being widespread.
