| Yeah, the new search sucks, badly; LL apparently paid no attention at all to the number of complaints they got about the new Dazzle UI (too low contrast, causes eyestrain, where's the 'classic' skin option?) until there was enough of an outcry to make them decide 'hey, maybe we should listen after all' (which only took 11 iterations of the release candidate). And now they seem intent on forcing those changes through in the web-powered 'All' search anyway, regardless of what UI option one has selected. I don't know, it could just be me, but when a significant percentage of the people who actually use your software are telling you they loathe the changes you're making to the user interface, and that said changes make it *less usable* for them, perhaps you should listen? But then, that's just me. |
