Have fun! I was in Cowes a few weeks ago. We were meant to go camping in France for the weekend but the car broke down, and we ended up going to the Isle of Wight instead (we have friends living there).
Our village is twenty years behind too. Kind of odd considering it hosts a major university.
There's a certain road that behaves like the Berlin wall, keeping the cosmopolitan students and local riff-raff apart.
