| Renting out space along the vertical space can work if you don't care about stuff like dealing with parcel controls (IE: Access & audio/video)... but personally it would drive me nuts to not be able to do that on land I pay money for.
As far as city-themed places that rent? Mm.. Kowloon is a cool city build... dunno what the community is like though. Its creator is Japanese and I do believe most of the community centered around it is Japanese as well. |
