My Mood:

Hmmm... let see, the airlines are charging extra if you check a bag, they charge for snacks (if they even offer them anymore), they charge for pillows and blankets and now even for water and soft drinks.

Seats are narrow and close together making any flight over an hour absolute agony.

They don't arrive on time and if they do, they often don't have the luggage that you paid to check.

They can cancel their end of the contract at any time stranding you anywhere but you are penalized (sometimes hundreds of dollars) if you have to cancel your contract with them and catch a different flight at a different time.

But instead of fixing these issues they add f*cking Wi-Fi so that the small amount of "down" time that I did have listening to music and reading can be filled with yet more work.

I am SO, SO, SO, F*CKING thrilled.

I hate the airlines and traveling more than going to the dentist and having a root canal. This is for all the asshole airline executives, none of whom even fly on their own damn airlines

Southwest and Jet Blue are somewhat excluded because while traveling on them is still agony, at least they get you to your destination on time [mostly] and they don't "fee" you to death.

Edited to add that IMO Delta is the absolute worst of all the airlines and I have told the company that I work for that I will not fly them. period. (This works because Southwest and Jet Blue are cheaper than Delta anyway).
