What's the strangest place you met an SL resident for the first time in RL?

I'll start:

This past weekend, I was feeling sore and tense from all the stress at work so I decided to splurge and get a full body massage. The massage therapist was very nice, and she and I almost immediately clicked.

Although I am not used to getting massages I was relaxed and really benefiting from the session. She was talkative like I was and we kept talking the whole time.

At some point midway through the hour, I mentioned that I also dabbled in 3D work and participated in the SL experience. She said, no way! Get out! I am an SL resident too.

So at this point I am expecting her to tell me that she joined in 2007 or something right? NO! Wrong. She was a member from 2003 and owned several islands and ran a mid-range estate with rentals and such. I vaguely recognized her name, she did not recognize mine. But she had visited one of the islands I built so I did not feel like a total loser from 2004.

But the rest of the hour was spent talking about SL and our experiences. It was sooo strange but so fun at the same time.

So now it's your turn... tell us... what's the strangest place/setting/circumstances where you met an SL resident for the first time in RL.
