Ah well. Huh, maybe it could be set up to somehow make it known what images are sent directly from SL, and what images are uploaded by other means? Or does the "Uploaded Image" in the top left of the screenshot mean you already thought of that?
I feel the same way you do about snapshots sent from SL - so I implemented uploads as a completely separate set of images that are clearly identified as user uploads. The site represents over three years of visual history of what SL looked like in a given moment. I didn't want to lose that, but still wanted to bring in the wonderful flexibility and creativity that uploads allow. That added a lot of complexity to the update, but it has been worth it.
