I quickly became friends with a sim owner when I came into SL...I made my services invaluable and extremely cheap...and because of this, now I pay very little rent, and have twice the prim count as other renters. Is this fair? Perhaps not. Do you blame me or the sim owner for this favoritism? Not if you're being a realist.
If you want to be given favors, go out and make them happen. Take initiative. If you play your cards right, you too can reap the benefits of knowing someone with power or connections. Don't bitch about people that have an 'in.' You create your own reality...if you want benefits above other people, find a way to make that happen. That's good business. Smart business.

Whether it's business or not is also irrelevant. It's unfair, and no, I have never furthered myself at the expense of someone else, nor will I ever do so.
Passing it off as appropriate to pimp the products of someone ahead of the rest of
SL is a pathetic cop out to justify the continued use of a service that has established on multiple occasions that it's run by morally bankrupt assholes.
