You may or may not remember I mentioned having my bathroom redone a month or so ago. Ever since then, nothing but problems, one after another.
Tonight, middle of the night, I hear water running. But everyone was supposed to be asleep, except my son who wasn't home. I follow the sound and find my downstairs bathroom ceiling leaking, only not just leaking. Big bubbles have formed in the paint and water is pouring out of them.
I went dashing around the corner to the manager's apartment hoping they're awake and I left my front door open. The manager's apartment is literally a few feet from mine, just around the corner.
While I was around the corner knocking on their door, my son came home and found me gone and the front door wide open. So a minute later when I came back, I got yelled at good.
"You don't leave doors open at night! You don't!" Later, after everything calmed down, I told him I was sorry I scared him and he gave me this very parental look and said, "That is NOT ok. Do not do it again!" :lmao: Poor kid.
Anyway, as it turns out we still don't know why the ceiling is full of water. No one was running any faucets in our apartment or the apartment next door (the only one that is directly connected to mine). The managers said all they can do is just let it drip (it's settled down to a trickle now) and call the plumber in the morning.
I'm really not loving this place lately.
