If that worked for me it would be so awesome because just 1 of my 3 meds cost about $1200/month. Luckily we have only had to pay about 5-6 times because my doctor (the same one since i was diagnoses in 04) keeps me stocked in sample packets in all the prescription strengths i require up to 4-8 weeks worth or enough to last between appointments. She is really really great i would not trade her for the world.
Your meds are working for you, which is excellent. I know you've come a long way and I'm very glad for you. In my daughter's case, she wasn't in need of medication, just Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Which is why I decided to try Flax Seed Oil supplements for her. I thought it might be a beneficial adjunct to her therapy. In other cases, medication left patients with unpleasant or life-threatening side effects. I figured I'd just put this out there for those who either can't or won't take medication. It can't hurt.

I started this thread with the intention of getting some info out there on taking Omega 3 supplements, not so much for touting the benefits of eating foods rich in Omega 3's (not that they aren't an important part of our diets). The supplements give you a specific measured amount every day and they're easy to take.
