| When you consider what mainland USED to sell for, you could have purchased a private island and paid tier on it a full year or more before breaking even on the equivalent mainland purchase. It is no wonder then that the only people who ever bought mainland sims were typically land traders or developers, and not the casual "I want my own sim" folks. But even then, many people want the water that surrounds an island, and buying a landlocked mainland sim isn't going to cut it. |
